Is this acceptable?

Question

I have a small home. Totally baby proofed as I have a young child.
I will be quitting my job to be a sahm in September and want to offer childcare to bring in a little fun money. 
I don't have a full daycare set up, I do have a huge backyard and we can walk to the park. I also have a play area and a large kitchen. My sunroom is also set up for play.
If I just take 2 kids (about the same age as my girl) a few days a week is that acceptable or should I totally transform my basement?

I think you should be fine, but make sure it's legal and you're covered with insurance as it's a huge liability.

I would say its acceptable as long as you are saying youll be baby sitting and not label yourself as a daycare.

Yeah just check with your local government to see if there's any permits or licenses you need to obtain. Most areas don't require anything special if you're watching like 1 or 2 kids in your home but I think they include your child in the total amount of children under your care so just keep that in mind
