Is it worth it

My ex and I were together for two years and broke up three months ago. We broke up because I felt he did not respect our relationship as he would break up with me every time he got upset. But ever since I cut him off he's making an effort. I think he's realised what he has lost and now I'm confused as to whether I should give the relationship another try as I love him incredibly. What should I do?
