Is it just the lip itself on the outside or is your gums and stuff swollen too? Could be an allergic reaction but last time mine was I had a infection in the tooth

Maybe. It could be an allergic reaction to something. 
As long as it doesn't get so swollen that it effects your breathing then you should be okay. But maybe try to investigate why it happened. If it's an allergic reaction - they can sometimes get worse the more you are exposed to the allergen.
