To know or not to know?

Question

I am sitting right on the middle of the fence about whether I want to find out the sex of our baby or not! My husband says the decision is mine because he is fine with whatever I choose. I hate making decisions like this!

For those of you that did find out...why did you choose to? For those that didn't, what was your reasoning? I just can't decide!

I wanted to find out because I wanted to be prepared and not just have to buy gender neutral stuff. Two of my friends are also pregnant right now and our due dates are weeks apart and we all felt the need to know.

I have no patience to wait til birth and I also have control issues so I feel better prepared if I know the gender plus I just want to know!

I have found it difficult to find gender-neutral clothes for the baby. I have no preference as to whether we have a boy or girl, I just want to be as prepared as possible for our baby. 
People who are against finding out often say that there are few surprises in life, but we're still going to be surprised next week when we get our 20 week scan. It's not like I'll respond with, "Oh yeah...I already knew that." When the ultrasound technician tells us. We'll still be super surprised/excited!

There's so few surprises in life anymore. My midwives don't even know! So when this baby comes Earth side everyone hearing "it's a ___!" will be surprised. I'm so excited for that!! It's giving me something to look forward to. I already love being in labor but I know if things get hard to cope with I can imagine the excitement of finding out who they are to get me through a tough surge.

I found out and have no regrets.... it has helped me bond with my baby knowing more about him and having his name picked out! But to each their own :)

I have to know so I can plan their room,  outfits , name..etc.

I think the main reason for me is to think of my baby as he or she and picture how it will be.
