Should I get an ultra sound before my first ultra sound.. let me explain

I am 8 weeks 3 days.. my obgyn can't fit me in until April 7.. I will be 11 weeks and 2days. However Easter is April 5th and we wanted to tell everyone together our exciting news.. on both sides. So I can get a 3D ultra sound at 10 weeks.. get a cd , hear the heart beat for the first time at a out patient place .. it's $75 .. Should I spend the money and do it. Or wait it out. I want to have that picture when we tell everyone!
