When to announce?

So I'm just wondering when everyone announced they were pregnant and how you did it?! 💛💛

We announced on Valentine's Day, which happened to fall at the end of first trimester!

We announced today on Facebook.   I'm 10 weeks.  But we told our parents as soon as we found out.

I was 3 weeks 4 days. I posted a picture of a onesie and 2 packs of diapers and captioned it "Anyone want to come to a baby shower in Hawaii??" (We had just moved about a month prior due to the military)

We announce at 11 weeks 3 days after my second doctor appointment.

I say do it as soon as you feel comfortable. Personally, I think the waiting until 13 weeks is a load of crap. Announce whenever, because IF something goes wrong, you'll want that support! (Trust me, our first 2 pregnancies we lost at 13 and 9 weeks) It's nothing to be embarrassed or ashamed about IF something goes wrong. All lives are important, no matter how brief. This was our rainbow baby announcement to fam and then the second one was for social media. (Currently 36 weeks 🌈)

We posted this to fb after our 12 week ultrasound. Our families we just told them when we found out we were pregnant and it had been confirmed.

Told most people in person right away, and then gave my mom a onesie for Mother's Day. I was five weeks. (I don't have social media so I didn't take pictures or anything to announce 🤷🏻‍♀️).
