baby shower - gift opening?

Did / do you twin mommies plan on opening gifts at your baby shower?  I'm not asking from an etiquette perspective.  I feel like physically I'm going to be pretty big at that point and itll be a lot of work lol. maybe I'm overthinking?  Maybe I can just ask my sisters to do most of it.

I had my shower the week before I had my boys bc they decided to come early. It was August and hot and I was miserable but they threw it for me and I knew seeing the reactions from their gifts would be something they came for. Luckily my husband came when the gift part got started so my friend passed me gifts and wrote down who gave what and my husband took the gift and paper and stacked it to the side. So open the gifts but get extra help...and maybe a fan. 😉

No mam, I will be 32wks+ and not up for all that. We've been asking people to do ship to home off our registry since we live out of state and the shower will be where we live. We thought it would be better for guests and is to not have to carry all that. We are recording gifts/senders as they arrive.

My shower is in July but my mom requested everyone bring a print out of what they bought and she made a bored that way I can spend more time with family and friends.

A lot of guests are going to want to see you open their gift. I was big already but I just sat there and my sisters handed me the gifts. You can have a small table or stool in front of you to open your gifts on

I opened all of mine, but had my sister hand me each gift and she helped me with the bigger ones. It wasn't too hard.
