Is being gay a sin?

Contrary to the title, I don't at all think it's a sin. Obviously not all people share this opinion. I accidentally wound up in the Christian group and saw this. It made my blood boil. The way she called it a "burden". This is why I'm an atheist. What do you all think?

I'm not religious, I am an atheist. So when people say to me "You're going to hell for being bi-sexual" I say "Fuck it, I'm buying a condo there anyways!"

How is gender dysphoria even remotely the same as homosexuality? I mean, someone can definitely be both, but it's not true for everyone.

It is a harder life. Some is unavoidable - who will do what job, who will drive? Because we are free from gendered norms within the relationship. Some of that is actually fantastic fun, and liberating. Some of it is created by community who constantly "others" us, treats us differently and rejects us. There is often a level of separation from friends and community on coming out, and with that is a loss of support and guidance, especially valuable when you are young.  I am not saying there are not exceptionally robust wise seventeen year olds about, but that wasn't me, and probably isn't most people.
My life would have been much easier to date if those who used to be around me didn't think it a sin. Whose problem or fault is this?

Gives a bad a name to actually Christians that don't agree with this way to think of different people. Also turning on lgbt Christians.
