my car accident

8 months ago I had the worst experience as a 16 year old girl, I thought I wouldn't live to see the day of my 17th birthday. Not only mine but I had a passenger, I was coming home from practice and I pulled up next to a friend who obviously I was close with and we started making noise and screaming at each other. I ask my passenger if I should and me being a huge idiot I did, I raced my friend and lost control of the car. I passed out and woke up in a ditch with my passenger bleeding, we got out safely and we were not seriously injured. She had glass in her face and I had a gash on my head. Now, I still get nightmares,me and my passenger don't talk, I go to therapy every month, I'm afraid of cars when they skid and when my seat belt locks. It's never been this hard.
