How long did you wait after your baby was born to get pregnant again?

My baby is 1 month 2 weeks..I was wondering how long did you ladies wait to get pregnant again with the second ? I would love to have kids really close in age

How long did you wait and did you find it super hectic to deal after?  Please let me know your age...

I found out I was pregnant when my first was one. They are 18 months apart. They're now 6.5 and 8 and it was really hard. But also because I became a single mother. However, I looooove their age difference. They're best friends and they go through the same phases and interests. They can do all the same activities as each other which makes our extra curricular schedules a little less hectic.

You shouldn't get pregnant again within 6 months of giving birth. Not good for your body or for the new fetus. Theres a lot of risks involved with pregnancy back to back.  It would be best to wait at least 6 months and make sure you are comfortable with the new baby and to get healthy before becoming pregnant again.

I think the safest is 6 months. My first two boys are 1yr and 4 months apart and they're such best friends. Your first baby should be walking by the time your second baby is born. Hope this helps! :)

You can start trying as soon as your doctor gives you the okay. Tell them you're interested in having the kids back to back. Of course it depends on how long before you start ovulating again too... if you're breast feeding, for many women that is a natural birth control, so you may not ovulate until you are done breastfeeding. The closest I know is 14 months apart and that means getting pregnant at 5 months pp. I know three sets of people who have that and all three the second child was just as healthy as the first.
