Wedding rings after baby?

How long after having your baby could you not wear your wedding rings? I'm only 5 months pregnant right now and my rings fit fine as I have no swelling yet, just wondering what's normal? ☺️

I took mine off at the end due to swelling, 5 weeks pp and I just got them back on yesterday!

I couldn't wear mine after 14 weeks 😔 my hubby bought me a CZ set that looks the same as mine so I could still wear rings as I was very upset about it.

While its true not everyone swells, id highly recommend taking off the rings as it is a very common symptom during the last 4 weeks especially- your body is retaining as much fluid to prepare for labor- this is what my ob told me, but too late- cant get 3 rings off, barely managed to get wedding rings off using dental floss method.

I didn't swell until after with my first and then I remained too swollen to wear them for at least 6 weeks.  Just had baby #2 mg rings fit before I went to the hospital we'll see if they fit when I get home.

For my first pregnancy I made it to around 37ish weeks. And even then, every day was different. This pregnancy I'm 40 weeks and 1 day and have yet to swell in my fingers. I normally never take it off (I sleep with it on) but I've been taking it off every night for the past couple of weeks just in case I wake up swollen lol

Not everyone swells and every pregnancy is different! My ankles and feet haven't even swelled this pregnancy! Last pregnancy they were puffy at the end of the day from 8 months on... 🤷🏼‍♀️

First pregnancy I had preeclampsia and horrible swelling, I had to ditch them about half way through my pregnancy but was back in em within a week of delivery. Second pregnancy wore my ring right up til I went to the o.r. and put em back on when we came home 2 days later (but easily wpuld have gone back on that same day)..not everyone swells and no two pregnancies are the same
