Ladies talk too much shit about their pregnancies
(Speaking from personal expirience I don't want anyone here to think I'm catogorising all pregnant women, this is what I've formed from less then 10 women currently pregnant, have little ones or family members, no one I've spoken to online, all women on this app alone are actually really decent, tell the truth about THEIR experiences, not talking about pregnancy as a whole)
When I first fell pregnant, so many ladies gave me unwanted advice, tips, anything they could repeat to someone, and some of it is really ridiculous.. One example I have is, 2 seperate women, my partners mother and a nurse taking blood told me that my Glucose Test would be terrible for me, a half dozen viles of blood taken, a litre sugar drink I'll have to drink..
I had my test today, with, across all 3 blood tests, an entire 3 Viles were taken (I was genuinely concerned about so much being taken as I pass out) and a 75ml Glucose drink was had..
Those women were honestly just trying to scare me or I personally think, make me believe I was in for this rough time.
Around 8 weeks pregnant, I was told how SHIT pregnancy was... I'm almost done and it's honestly a breeze, I know some have it allot more difficult and have complications, all sorts of jazz, but those ladies shouldn't of told me how difficult it was when that was their experience, not what all women or just the overall in general experience.
So many female family members exaggerating to ridiculous extents have had me so scared during the whole time, it's ridiculous.
If I meet women in the future who are expecting, I'm not going to say anything of any extent, I'm going to say I had my ordeals and I had my strengths but it may be completely different, easy, or difficult for you and to take what I say with a grain of salt.
I'm just airing out an annoying thought I've been having. As my pregnancy continues through, I'm finding out so many things that weren't as terrible or full on as ANYONE I've met has described, not a single women has told me anything positive, and these women aren't even Negative Nancys their genuinely nice people but they've pulled some mad scare tactics.
I'm not happy about em haha :(
