tummy time?

My baby girl hates tummy one and cries like crazy. I was told I'm supposed to let her cry and do it anyway. Is that true

If my baby tirl cries during tummy time i pick her up, but if she is just grunting ill let her lay there for a little bit. I wouldnt leave baby on tummy if she were crying because she probably is having discomfort since she doesn't have full head/neck control yet. Once she does i would probably encourage her to try tummy time more/ for longer periods.

I let my little guy cry for maybe 1 min tops then pick him up. I'd rather do shorter sessions more frequently than longer sessions once or twice a day and put him through that if he's clearly uncomfortable.

I do tummy time with my boy on my belly when I am laying down. It seems to be more comfortable for him

I agree with all of these comments. Try short, frequent sessions & if she cries pick her up/flip her back to her back. Anytime she is on your chest/stomach is considered "tummy time" too.
