Have anyone gotten a chlamydial infection? I went to the doctor and found out. I was prescribed ciprofloxacin. I am so upset with myself. My ex was cheating on me and I didn't know. What did you do when you found out? What precautions did you take?

Sti's can remai n dormant in males for quite a long time. They never show symtpoms so it's possible it was something brought to the relationship if you're worried about him cheating. If you're not in a relationship it's important to get tested every 3 months. With all of that said it is an easy STI to take care of you. You take the medicine for like 2ish weeks and then you're clean unless you have a more aggressive strain. Then you should tell all of your sexual partners since the last time you got tested. Not the end of the world so don't stress it.

I had it before. I was 17 The only reason why I found out was because I was 9 weeks pregnant and it was my first doctors appointment. I confronted my baby daddy and he did admit about cheating on me. It hurt me a lot because I love that boy a lot. And I'm sure it hurt him too. 7 years later we're still together, left the past alone and not looked back. We have a five year old daughter and hoping for many more kids ❤️

I've had it my now husband when we were split up got it and gave it to me when we got back together. I confronted him about it got antibiotics. And now I'm fine.. at first I was livid I lost my shit and had a hard time at work that day I found out but all in all we all make mistakes and there's consequences for them and I learned my lesson and so did he it's all how you look at the situation. I had it but I didn't find out till October of last year, I was married for 2 years at that point. Me and my husband have no idea who had it first
