Am i doing enough to lose weight

Eating around 1500-2000 calories a day ... then burning about 300-500 every second day on elliptical (high impact heart rate 164bpm)
I wanna lose about 30 or 40lbs
Am i doing enough or should i eat less or exercise more? Also, any idea how to fix my stomach? I look really pregnant and people often ask if i am. Baby is 17 months old. If i breathe out heaps i can make myself look 8 months pregnant
