period cramps?

So AF is supposed to be here Saturday. I am starting to cramp. I have been cramping for about a week. But me and my boyfriend have had unprotected sex almost everyday for about 2 weeks or so but have unprotected sex before then too. So is this just period cramps? I also have been moody, very emotional, really bad lower back pain. AF is usually irregular so I don't know if it will start or not.
