First time success?

Ladies! I am beyond happy to report that my first round of clomid worked for me and my progesterone levels came back at 14.8! This was my first cycle with clomid and I was so excited I started crying. If my calculations are correct I would now be 10 DPO on CD 24. My literature on clomid says not to take a hpt until CD 30. I'm trying not to get my hopes up but just looking for anyone that had success getting pregnant with their first round of clomid. Also how long did you wait to test? Not sure I can hold out another 6 days!!! Wanting to test asap!
