Waiting to find out gender- Reasons?

I think I'll most likely find out as soon as possible what the gender of my lil one is but I'm curious about waiting as well? If any of you waited til birth to find out, what were your reasons and was it worth it?

I think waiting makes a lot of sense in my case as I don't care as long as they are healthy but I'm also so curious. And if I found out, wouldn't that make me already assume things about their personality based on their gender? Aghhh, anyway! Please share your thoughts 💕
