second time mommy concerns

So I'm scheduled for c section on 6/26 &a my son is a year and 8 months. The closer I get to D Day, I become in a mixture of emotions , of how much I love him & how good I feel making him a big brother. But I do get concerned with the thought of unintentionally not giving him attention that he won't be use too. He kisses my belly, he's been so excited to see the bassinet up for the baby, knowing I'll be in need of recovery and won't be able to hold or play with him for a couple days/weeks.... how did you mommies adjust to your addition?
