Is it normal to ovulate the day after your cycle is over?

Hello I'm 27 yrs old and I have been tracking my ovulation with opk and for the last 2 cycles and I have been ovulating the day after my cycle is over and mind u my cycle length is 24 days and I'm on my cycle for 5 days every time...idk i was reading and it said that if your cycle length is too short it's harder to conceive is this true....oh also I'm looking for a cycle buddy.

I have 20 day cycles and I ALWAYS get a positive ovulation test the day after my period. I haven't talked to my doctor yet but was told that its harder with shorter cycles to conceive because it doesn't give a potential fertilized egg enough time to attach to your uterine wall before you start shedding it for your next cycle. I have been TTC for 6 months now and still no baby :( baby dust to you!

I'm 33 and TTC #3...already have 2 kids.  I started TTC at the end of January and this is my 3rd cycle, 2 time using OPKs and I have learned quite a bit about my cycles.  I have cycle days that come as early as 24 days but as late as 28, averaging 26 days.  My AF's usually last 6 days...this cycle I started testing with OPKs CD7 and I had low fertility until CD10 when to my surprise I got my positive OPK.  Knowing I would ovulate anywhere between 24-36 hours I have been busy...hopefully I will have a successful month!  I think your fine...good luck!!

Having short cycles and ovulating right after your period may not be a bad thing. As long as your luteal phase is 10 days or more then you should be fine. I don't ovulate until cd14 or cd15 and I have 28 day cycles which is pretty common. As long as the days past ovulation before your next period are 10 days or over you may be just fine. I have been temping with bbt just to monitor my luteal phase becaus I was concerned mine was too short. Try that if you're not already doing it. As long as the temp stay above the cover line for at least 10 days you should be just fine. Baby dust to you if you are ttc!

It is true. If they are too short, or too long, like mine (10 days) , you can ovulate during the last days of your cycle or the day right after.

I too think I ovulate really soon after my period is over my period last 6 days....and my cycles are 24 to 25 days....I'll know for sure this cycle
