Tmi about cm (no pics)

Hey everyone this might sound stupid but I have always had a hard time finding my cervix. I have never been to the obgyn (1st appointment tomorrow) well i have tried checking cm but its almost always the same. Well i decided what the heck & decided to pull myself open & look in the mirror. When i first looked it immediately had creamy/milky cm. Not sticky or tacky or eggy but just creamy opaque stuff & wasnt a lot. It was kinda just dripping out my vag. I was wondering if this is an accurate way of checking cm. Or even if this was cm. I dont thing it was semen as we had had sex the day before & i took a shower & i always clean really well up there so its unlikely it was semen...
