Recommended form of birth control?

I've done research on various forms of birth control but I'd like to hear your personal experiences with them! Which birth control are/were you on? If you've tried multiple birth controls, which worked better for you? Did you suffer any side effects? Any information is helpful, thank you!

I was on the shot for almost two years and sorry for the tmi but I bled most of that time. It was horrible. But everything affects everyone differently. I'm planning on trying the hormone free iud

I don't know why so many people say they hate the shot. I LOVED it! The pill not so much. Didn't ever remember to take it and had about every symptom one can have.

I have a friend who has the shot and she's miserable. She's gained weight, broke out, period comes at random times and she has cramps all day every day. I'm on the pill because I want to help with my acne and cramps, but if I didn't have acne I would get the implant- it's just a little bar that goes underneath your arm (I think) it's simple and more than 99% effective

I have the patch! Painless and simple. Period comes the same time and is effective. I reccomend it!
