Finding out the gender!

I live in RI so I was wondering if any of my other RI mommy's to be have found out the gender of their babys yet, where it was done and how much it cost, as I'm getting my last genetic blood work in a couple weeks but I'm not sure my doctor will tell me if I'm having a boy or girl as I was previously told in my 1st trimester I can't get the blood test unless its for genetic testing (which she had told me I would be getting tested for cystic fibrosis and downs so I was pretty confused because those are genetic tests) so I just want to have another option available to me even if I have to pay out of pocket to find out the gender
