pelvic exams?

I just had my second pelvic exam done, I had a UTI, a yeast infection & now finding out what infection I have now lol. I was just wondering if they are safe? It kinda scares me feeling all that pressure and my last exam I bled everywhere, as for this one, i jumped as he was swabbing me and kinda made him poke me and it scared me. I know I'm probably overreacting but I can't help but worry about everything due to a prior MC 🙁
