First time considering a NATURAL birth!

Ok so I would love to hear from those of you who have had a natural birth or are planning on it with your next pregnancy!!
BACKSTORY:
I got my Mirena IUD removed 2 weeks after having it for 4 years - husband and I are ready for baby #1! Up until now, I never even ENTERTAINED the idea of not having pain meds/an epidural when I deliver. I just had that serious FEAR of the pain and just never thought I could or would do it!
But after joining Glow and starting to do some research since this is the first time I've ever actively TTC, I started to learn about all the pitfalls of a hospital birth...
-- how they see pregnancy as a "medical concern" vs. a natural, normal thing that millions of women have gone through
-- the cost -- hospitals births being more $$ because of all the extra interventions they usually push
-- how they really push you into getting induced with pitocin if you're not progressing as fast as THEY want vs. what your body naturally wants to do
Not to mention I also hate hospitals!! They remind me of sick and dying people and the smell 🤢 So I started to research birth centers and the philosophy is definitely something I can get on board with!!
-- being able to eat and drink
-- being able to walk around and use a tub
-- have a cozy homey environment instead of sterile white walls
-- not being hooked up to fetal monitors and bed ridden the whole time
-- being able to have a more personal experience instead of feeling like another patient
So all this being said, I have gathered all this info just from being on Glow and reading different birth stories! I feel like hearing women's experiences that have gone through it is the best way for me to make decisions!
I wanna hear from you guys...anyone had a natural birth and anyone have a natural birth at a birth center?? Thoughts??
On the flip side, anyone have similar thoughts about hospitals?? My husband's philosophy is that most women deliver in hospitals so it can't be that bad -  but for me, I want to have a calm, peaceful and overall amazing experience when I deliver, and I feel like my chances for this are more likely with a birth center.
Ok sorry for the long ass post!! Drop your stories below!!
