Do people still consider the brown blood at the end of your period as still their period or only the red blood ???

I have 5-ish days of red period blood and then maybe 1-2 days of brown spotting. So if this happens to most women do you still consider the brown blood still as you're period even those brown blood is obviously old blood?? I'm not 100% sure if I should still mark it as period on my log calendar, should I mark period until I completely stop bleeding and spotting, this has always confused me since I've been tracking
