Yes. I used to have the biggest crush on my best friend's cousin. I was almost positive he didn't want me because he was older and saw me as his "little sister." Then he ended up graduating while I was still in high school. I was hurt for a while but eventually got over it. Then when he came back home from college during the summer, we became super close and started going out. We've been dating for 2 years now. So... while it may look like you can't have him now, you never know what may happen in the future. Keep your head up, girl...

Yep. Had a one night stand with a guy a few years older than me, (maybe a little more than a few) and once he graduated, he decided to become a teacher. I was so in love with him, and I had been for years. I wish I would have told him sooner, but we had to go our separate ways so that I didn't ruin his career. A teacher talking to a high school student is a big no-no, even if they aren't necessarily your teacher.

When I first met my husband we were stationed over seas and we clicked and became best friends instantly! I started developing MAJOR feelings for him and later found out he was engaged to a girl back home. (He's not one to share his business with people). For 4 months I had to suppress my feelings knowing I couldn't have what I wanted most in the world but i wasn't willing to lose him as a friend. I fell in love with a guy I matched with on Tinder right before he moved away. So we stayed talking and stayed friends but had never actually hooked up.
