Pumping before birth?

I'm 38 weeks and 5 days and I'm being induced on the 29th I just started pumping yesterday trying to get my supply up any tips or advice or anything is welcome please!!

Your milk won't come in until a few days after the baby is born. So, you can pump but you'll likely only get a tiny bit of colostrum. Pumping at this point won't do anything for your supply. Pumping is a pain and you'll likely be doing a lot of it over the next few months, so I would enjoy the next few days and not worry about it. ☺️

No. Pumping can send you into labor when your body isn't ready. And your milk won't come in any sooner. Avoid pumping till.you have to after birth because your body spends the first few weeks figuring out how much to produce based on need. If you create artificial need, you'll over produce and that isn't a good thing lol. It hurts

That won't increase supply any however my midwife cleared me to pump to attempt to get labor going with my youngest daughter.  I never did as I was too lazy to steralize my pump parts.  Talk to your doc and make sure they are okay with it before precessing with it.
