How do you share your time with 2 kids?

How do you share your time with both kids? I have a 3 years old and a 2 months old. I feel like a failure not giving them enough attention and sometimes I put a show on the tv for the 3 years to take a little break but I feel like this is not the right thing to do .I also struggle finding time to cook healthy homemade meals. Any recommendations?

I have a 5 year old and 6 week old. I have the same worries and everyday is different and different struggles. It's gotten a bit easier but like the other women said. I think it's just gonna take time for baby to get older and the other child to adjust to not just having you constantly. Thankfully I live with my parents right now while we look for a house and they help me when they get home from work to get a break for my 5 year old or watch baby so I can do things for her

Sorry I don't know the answer as I am only pregnant with my second. But I do have a suggestion for healthy meals. If you have a slow cooker maybe try using that a bit. That way you can put together something nutritious that doesn't require lots of attention when your newborn is super clingy in the afternoons. Set and forget. You can even chop your veggies for beside the meal ahead of time, just have to turn on the stove or microwave and you've got a full meal. Great for days when you want to get out to the park or have appointments. Good for making budget meals too. If you don't have one consider it as they are quite cheap. I have seen some people set up the ingredients and freeze so when they have no time all they need dinner you only need to defrost the night before and put it into the slow cooker the day of. Check Pinterest for more hints, I always find some inspiration there when I am stuck in a rut with meals. I am hoping this will help me when my new arrival comes as my 2year old is clingy enough as it is before dinner. Take care x

I'm wondering the same thing as my oldest is 10. I have no clue how I'm not going to change his life too much when the baby comes.
