TMI!!! is this too much blood?

Okay I don't know how to do a TMI filter but I was discharged from the hospital Saturday & didn't have anywhere near this much blood. This started yesterday, and the spot where I tore & the stitches are hurts way worse than it did while I was in the hospital. Like to the point I can barley move without help. I've been calling and calling my OB to make a 3 week appt like they said to when I was discharged but I have yet to get through to make the appt, let alone ask any questions. Thoughts???

It's normal to hurt more after you get home because you're up and moving around more. Moving more also makes you bleed more. Try to relax when baby's sleeping and use your pain meds, spray, tucks pads, and ice.

Honestly... I bleed way more than that after having babies.. and pain is pretty normal. Don't stress!

It's pretty normal to have quite a bit of blood after. It's also normal for your stitches to hurt as you start to heal. I tore with my most recent pregnancy and was feeling pain as well. My doc had me come in and nothing was wrong. It was just the healing process causing me pain. But I know what your talking about its like a tightening ache. It may be nothing but still would get it looked at just to be sure.

The pain is normal but I made sure I took the Max dose of codien, tylonal and 800 mg of ibuprofen every 4/6 hrs. Medicine is your friend

Definitely looks normal. As long as the clots you pass aren't larger than a golf ball is what my doctor said.

you may have tore you stitches if they're hurting call your OB again and ask to speak with a nurse asap if they don't get back to you, you can always go to the hospital hun

My doctor told me as long as I wasn't passing clots it's was ok.

I bled tons for awhile after I got home. My toilet looked like that every time I went to the bathroom for awhile. I didn't stop bleeding until right at 6 weeks. And yes you hurt worse after you leave the hospital cause you don't get to lay in the hospital bed all day. It definitely sucks. But remember it does end
