How many people have been told their baby is being diagnosed with Trisomy 18? I'm 19 weeks pregnant and just found out I was having a little boy. The same time they told me there is a chance he could have trisomy 18. Which affects every organ in the body. Based on the ultrasound he has a strawberry shaped head, an enlarged kidney, and two vessels on the umbilical cord instead of one. After some research I found out the two vessels cause an enlarged kidney. I'm praying it's nothing. He's telling my If my baby does have T18. He won't live past 9 days... that's if he makes it to the 9 month mark.
