weird cycle

I got off birth control in the middle of April I had been on it for a good solid 6 years but on and off the prior three years. So in April my cycle was normal as I had just gotten off  the pill. In May my cycle came a few days early but lasted the three days as normal. In June I spotted two days before my cycle was to start and the day before, I had one day of heavy bleeding the another two days of spotting. Is this just my body getting use to being off birth control or could there be something wrong.
