How to relax and stop nagging when husband has newborn?

I'm always so nervous when hubby has baby. I'm constantly bugging him about the way he holds him, talks to him, etc. It drives him nuts but I find it so hard to keep my mouth shut. Help? Baby is 4 weeks old.

I am the same way . Our baby just hit that 1 month mark . I just leave the room , whenever I hand our baby over to him . That is actually my  opportunity to take a dang break .

You'll eventually relax more, he'll get the hang of things more... just part of the postpartum process in my opinion. I would maybe try to ask him a way that you could give him constructive criticism without offending him. Also, I found it easier if I didn't watch lol it sounds silly but if he's say changing baby I go in the other room this way I can't see anything he's doing differently. Also I would watch out for postpartum anxiety, there are tests online you can take, I developed this and if that's the case for you I found counselling really helped

I am sure he is just a protective as you that's his baby as well. My hubby looked after our son who is ten weeks old for almost five hours whilst i was at  the spa few days ago. He is so protective and caring towards our son my hear melt when I see them together. If you don't let him be a daddy without nagging him how will he bond with your baby. You just have to trust him.
