Is smoking cigarettes a turn off for you?

It is for me! Daughter of a smoker too. Just don't dig it.

Yes. I don't think I could date someone that smoked. Just too disgusting and shows bad judgement on their part. Friends, sure whatever. But kissing and being intimate and around someone a lot that smokes... no. Plus it would worry me knowing they were killing themselves like that.

My dad's a smoker and it's caused me to have lung problems. I would never date someone who used any form of tobacco though. Not just smoking

I hate the smell of smoke and any kind of smoke really bothers my throat/lungs. They're a huge turn off to me. My boyfriend used to smoke on very rare occasions when he was drinking. I would refuse to be around him while he smoked and I would not kiss him until he'd throughly brushed his teeth. It would just make me feel really awful. He stopped pretty soon after he realized how much it physically bothered me thankfully so now we don't have a smoke problem unless we go camping.

Smoking a cigarette can kill me. 
Well it can kill everyone but it can put me into anaphylactic shock because I'm extremely allergic to them on top of being a severe asthmatic. 
So yeah, it's a turn off. And plus it smells like shit. 
The last time someone smoked around me I ended up in the hospital.

Usually yes.  Unless I'm drunk,  then for some reason the taste gets me going.
