So here's the deal. After marriage you and your husband becomes one flesh. All sex is permissible because now in the sight of God you are united and one. Which means, as long as each consent, you can try anything you want as long as it doesn't fall under sinful nature (ie; drugs, excessive alcohol use, open marriage, cheating, etc.) So if you and your partner want to try anal then that's between you, your husband, and God. No one else can decide if that's right or wrong for you. 
Personally I wouldn't just because the anus is such a sensitive part of the body, anal can cause damage to the thin anal lining.

My husband and I have agreed that anal is not right for us because it is a perversion of  sex. We also choose not to masturbate, use porn, or include other people. We do go down on each other and use our hands and still have a great sex life. I think this one should be something you and hubs pray about and decide for your own marriage :) blessings!

I just discovered the website www.the marriagebed.com its Christian based and I really like their approach on sex in Christian marriage. My husband and I are very strong in our faith as Christians and my body is his and his body is mine and if we both agree then it's ok. As long as it doesn't create a divide but brings you closer in your marriage we don't feel there's anything wrong with it. Sara I'm positive by all your posts you will totally disagree with me but that's okay because that is what you've been taught and believe :) As it's okay for me to disagree with you because that is what I have been taught and believe :)

Yesterday in church, our service was titled/about "people over preferences".
I'll save the details, but the general theme was that some people have certain "preferences" over others. When they are important, you can either accept it, reject it, or redeem it. But it's important to recognize when these preferences are just trivial details that we get way too caught up on. (examples: the clothes you wear, the songs you sing in church...etc) I believe when you're married and born again believers, your sex life is trivial to anyone else. Meaning it's between your marriage and God. Someone else's sexual activities within their marriage might not be your preference. Leave it at that. Don't judge them for what they're doing, because we aren't the ones to judge others anyways. If you yourself are wondering about anal sex within your marriage, ask yourself this. Does is benefit you? Did God intend for this? Will is spiritually feed your relationship? Personally, it's a no for me. But that's my preference.
