I got my Kyleena hormonal IUD a little over a week ago, on about the 4th day of my period. I was going to go back to my doctor to get it checked up on but if anybody has any advice here to ease my mind that would be great.

My cramps have not gone away, and medicine doesn't always work to ease the pain. It seems to become worse after sex. Now it feels like it may not be cramps any more, just straight up pain. Also I have a LOT of back pain (usually accompanies my periods so I was thinking just a side effect of the hormones) and lots of diarrhea and gas (also usually what happens on my periods, so again, maybe hormonal changes?).

I finished out my period in the day or two after I got my IUD in and I've had minimal bleeding/spotting since, which is nice because I've heard a lot of people have more than that.

My basic question is, is the pain/cramps still normal at this point?  And the diarrhea, back hurting, pimples? I mean it basically feels like a really bad period. Just wondering if anyone else can share their experience to let me know whether or not the pain is normal.
