Clear blue advance question please

Hi. I'm a little confused about cb advance.

I got a flashing smiley on Saturday

Then a solid smiley on Sunday

Which is great but I use cheapies too all month and they have been extra dark since Saturday even yesterday so I tried a clear blue again last night and it was flashing but this morning it's solid again but my cheapies is lighter today?

Can anyone tell me if I played as normal or if I haven't ?
