Relationships are all about trust. And this applies to friendships as well. If you confided in her with telling her who your crush is, and then the next day, she dates him, I think she's not a true friend. Of course there's the odd moment when she can't control how she feels about ur crush and vice versa. If that's the case, then I'm sure she didn't mean to hurt you. But seeing that she lied to you, she isn't a true friend.

I honestly would just not be friends with her becasue if you continue she'll most likely end up doing other shady things. For example: I told (my friend at the time) that I liked this boy and as soon as she got the chance she ran to him trying to be all over him and stuff. BUT GUESS WHAT I FUCKING GOT HIS ASS anyhow so as soon as I told her me and him are dating she tries to hit him up asking for something on Saturday like to hang out or something . OKAY BUT HES LOYAL ASF SOOO but anyways that's just a couple of things she has done. So my point is if she'll do that it can lead to many more shady stuff happening. Honestly just save yourself from the drama

It depends. I've sorta been in the situation of your friend was in. I have a friend (we'll call her Diana) and then there was a guy (we'll call him Jackson). So her and I met Jackson at the beginning of the year (they had English together, him and I had History toghether). In the beginning of the year I had a huge crush on Jackson, but he was in a really bad depression, and I  (had just pulled myself out of a 4-year depression and I got out of a bunch of toxic friendships), decided that a relationship with him would be detremental to my mental health, although him and I continued to be friends. I got another boyfriend. Flash forward a few months, Diana likes Jackson (I do too a little bit, but.... ya know relationships and friend code). Flash forward a little more, Diana decides she isn't ready for a relationship (may I add, her and Jackson NEVER offically dated, they hung out a few times while I was there and they held hands once). Diana tells me that she's completely over him, I'm single again. We go on a 3 day trip and Jackson and I are together a LOT. We hang out and text for hours on the trip. He then holds my hand, and asks me out. Before I said yes, I checked with Diana (who before this was yelling "I SHIP IT") and she said she was fine with it. After the trip, Diana decides she ISN'T fine with it, but at that point I didnt care, I mean, I love Diana (we're been friends since we were little), but she already said yeah. So I ask her to forgive me and that's that. Now, two months later, Jackson and I are still together and Diana and I are fine. Her and I have lied to each other and screwed up majorly in the past, but we're still besties so. I'd say forgive your friend, I'm sure she feels bad.
