Is spotting at 16 weeks normal?

I haven't spotted once this entire time. Not for ovulation, not for implantation, nothing. But now I have salmon/pinkish colored discharge occasionally when I wipe today and yesterday. I've been having dull cramps in my back and lower abdomen but they don't seem the same as when I had them in my first trimester (still aren't painful in anyway)

Spotting is never "normal" no matter how many weeks pregnant. It's just not uncommon. Please get checked out. X

I'd call your dr. It may not be something major, maybe placenta previa. But it's important to know if you need pelvic rest until it resolves.

I would let you doctor know, but try not to be worried I had red blood and clots at 6 weeks and was sure it was a miscarriage and I went to the doctor and the baby was perfectly fine, normal heart rate and all. Doctor told me they had no idea what caused it but and it hasn't happened again
