when did you introduce the sippy cup?

My little one is almost 6 months..
When did you introduce a sippy cup and why?
I pumped some milk for his cup and I want to let him practice it every day.. but it takes me forever just to pump 2 oz!!

What do you put in it? No water right just milk?

This was his first try, he chewed on it lol. Anyone's bf baby never even have to take a bottle? That's what I'm hoping, he will go strait to cups!

My little one won't take a bottle and is 10 months old. She drinks from a cup, messy but has no issues. I have given her sippy cups in hopes of her figuring it out so in the car I have another way to feed her. So far she basically chews on it and every once in a while sucks on it, but I think that's a fluke.

We chose straw bottles. First small amounts of water around 9 months. Then smoothies at a year.

Yep🙋 my dd never had a bottle. Didn't really take a soppy cup until around 18 months. But she took to an open cup around 7 months.

My oldest he was six months my youngest (for now) was 4 months. They both took to a sippy cup right away! My sister's and sister in laws are jealous saying it took them 2 years to get their kids to get on one.
