Did I really just burn 📛 a bridge?

I was sick of the verbal, mental and emotional abuse and harassment my job kept giving me so I quit. It's really sad when someone with higher authority takes that power and abuses it. I went up every chance I could to each chain of command. It kept continuing. The higher ups acted as if they didn't believe me so I quit. When I turned in my badge and supplies, I told personnel, "no offense to you ,but management sucks." When I told my friend, he said I was burning my bridges but I'm kind of not sorry. 💁🏻Sorry I'm not sorry. I'll agree it wasn't professional but I have every right to feel the way I felt.
