terrible ingrown hair breakout

I used air almost a few ago and nearly two days afterwards my bikini line (only play I used it on) felt terrible. The the third day I have slot of red inflamed bumps. And now today I have looked at thin closer and realized it a hair coming out of each. I've never had this issue before with hair and I've used it a ton of times. Is there a way for me to get rid of the ingrown hairs or is this something I just have to wait out? They don't hurt but they are uncomfortable with the friction of underwear.
