Could it be a false positive??

Question

I took a few pregnancy tests a week ago after trying for a year, and they all came out positive...

I went to the doctor this morning for my first ultrasound, and the tech was unable to locate my GS. I am literally FREAKING OUT! She said she could see the beginnings of what may be the sac, but it also could be a cyst.

The doctor wants me to come back next week for another u/s. Has anyone had a similar experience? What was the outcome?

I should be about 7 weeks based on my LMP, but she says she thinks I'm a lot earlier than that. They didn't have my blood work back yet, so they didn't know what my HCG level was when I came on Monday. They did more blood work today!

I'm so scared!!!! 😩😩😩😩

You're probably just early when I went for my first ultrasound I was 5 weeks and all they could see was a little teeny black spot. Went two weeks later and there was a heart beat! I'm sure you're fine!

maybe your dates are just off. at 3 weeks 1 day I got a bfp. and at 5 weeks and a few days my ult just showed a large black area. the ult tech kept saying she couldn't guarantee it was a pregnancy. but now I am 33 weeks Sunday. first pic was my ultrasound. I was 5 weeks and a few days. didn't see a baby and heartbeat till 6w2d. 2nd photo was at 28weeks and a few days.
