ttc with irregular period

1 year ago i gave birth to a beautiful baby boy. (It was a vaginal delivery).A day after his birth i got the depo shot because i thought i didnt want anymore kids. About 3 months later i noticed the weight gain and i was still bleeding. I stopped bleeding about a month later and i got my first period at the beginning of this year. Since then it has been irregular. Are there any tips that some can give since i am ttc with an irregular cycle. Please help? Success stories please!!!!
