need help ladies

I broke up with my boyfriend of 2 years and 5 months and we tried being friends right. So we still hung out together and were nice to each other. He asked me to sit down and talk a couple days ago to which I agreed but yesterday I found out that he was sexting one of my coworkers sister. He says I'm confused about what I want because I'm messing with his emotions but I don't know how I am. He said him sexting other girls is how he's moving on. But yet he's going to our mutual friends and claiming he still loves me and wants me back. I'm so confused by his actions
