Is this normal ?

So let me start off by saying how weird this is 
My boy friend is 100% attached to my MOTHER , I mean wth he talks to her more than he talks to me and we basically live together , any ways everytime I hang out with my best friend or visit family she's the first person he runs to once I'm gone , it kind of a problem because he tells me that I should be more like my mom and maybe we'd get along better (him & my mom are exactly alike) . You see I've always knew he was a mamas boy but once we got together he ditched his mom for my mom , he treats her just like a friend and they call each other best friends and they always go to each other for advice on anything when it comes to fashion my mom goes to my boy friend instead of me which is just weird and when it comes to our relationship my boyfriend brings all our problems to my mom and when I ask what they talk about my boyfriend always tells me "if you knew you would most likely dump me " wth . This has been going on for a while and I'm just glad the worst part is over , when we were together about 5 months my boyfriend would wait till I was asleep and my mom and him would take off on overnight road trips and come back at like 5 in the morning the worst time was when I was having a bad reaction to my laxatives and I was bent over in pain crying and I really needed help to get up and function well my boyfriend basically put me to bed and left with my mom and didn't come back till 7 in the morning . They don't do that any more but they still hang out with each other and make jokes and share memories and laugh together and he even sleeps with her on the couch sometimes while we're all watching a movie (this all happens in front of me ) . My boyfriend tells me and his whole entire family that my mom is the only one that understands him but I think he just gravitated towards her because his mother is very sick and can't fulfill her duties as a mom . I just find it very disturbing though that he enjoys her company more than mine and wishes I was like her . Is it normal for a boyfriend to be like that with his girlfriends mom ?

not like that. overnight trips? that's shitty for your boyfriend to do but shame on your mom as well, she should know better. i would break up with him, it's only gonna get worse by the years. that's an unhealthy infatuation.

I mean idk now how old ur bf is, buttttt.. sleeping over night? sleeping together on the couch?more attention to her than you?. that sounds like her man not urs.. sorry if I'm being mean, but I can't be the only person thinking this. Ummm thats all kinds of messed up! I would end it, that sounds like a relationship beyond even a mother son dynamic, but even a mother son dynamic is weird! It sounds like all sorts of boundaries have been crossed.

I think your best option is to talk to him about this weird situation. And if is comparing you to your mom and trying to change you to be more like her then you need to end it with him. No one should tell you not to be you and no one should trade you out of someone else.
