Ideas:)
No hate or anything rude pls.
Okay so my friend my best friend in the world has a 4 year old little girl. My stepdaughter basically ( my husband nd i started coparenting with her when the dad got abusive and she left him) we started helping out bc she worked nights and was doing it all alone.
Backstory:
She was 2 when the father left and i was their live in nana (nanny) she asked me to help her out (i was 18) at the time. I did. And since then we became great friends. Shes like my second mom.
Now:
We wanna do something special for babygirl. So her mom agreed to let her come to our new place thats in a diff state. (We are driving to get her incase babygirl changes her mind on wanting to be that far from her momma. We all understand this is a possibility)
I wanna know other than snacks drink extra clothing (for the unfortunates of no bathroom situation that comes with driving) and ways to keep her entertained so she dnt lose her mind with the long car ride. (We are mapping out parks and fast food playareas as well)
What other things should we have on hand.
We got a short list from her momma
pull ups incase
Diaper wipes a must
Disposable cups
I wanna know what other things should we have on hand.
We r getting a new carseat once its all planed out (ours just exspired :/ )
Since the possibility of her not wanting to we offered to drive down so that we can still visit friends and family and so that its nt a waist of gas since they have no family in our new state. While we both understand that this is a big thing and some legal documents have to be made up (incase of injuries or her gettin sick. And we have to make a fast decision about stuff) and that some parents wouldn't let this happen. She trust us and we are soooo thankful that she is lettin us grab her up and meet our other family members.
Any other mommas got ideas for long trips with toddlers. (Frozen dv has been bought already car tv is next XD)
