Feminine care question? a smidge tmi (no photos)

Hi ladies! So after my 15wk checkup and routine papsmear, all was normal except i came back with a mild case of BV. Doctor prescribed me a cream that you insert for 7days so that should be cleared up here shortly. However my question is, is it safe to use summer's eve cleansing wash while pregnant? I know it is for external and you don't put it in anywhere but just wondering if I can use the wash to help balance pH as my hubbys sperm + pregnancy has been throwing it off and has been causing me ongoing issues with my pH balances down there.
