one breast producing WAY less?

Question

I'm pumping and supplementing. I admit I don't pump as often as I should. When I pump, my left breast only produces a few drops in the time that my right breast produces 1 oz. Should I pump my left breast more frequently? Will it even out or is it a lost cause? Anyone else?

If your one breast is less try block pumping  other one and only pump the one that is less for a few minutes longer than the other !! Good luck

Same. I've been pumping for two months and they've almost evened out. Hopefully that'll be the case for you! L breast has always been behind. I too use to give a few minutes extra to L breast, if time allowed. I'm now pumping at work and extra time is something I don't have. So I just make sure to drain them both completely so they can fill right back up (and hopefully evenly).  I too have a schedule I stick to as best I can.

My right breast is slacker boob, so I pump an extra 5 minutes after my 20 min pump session. My boobs look like (Oo) when they are full but pumping that extra time has helped a bit, I am up to a 1oz out of the right and 2oz from the left, plus I stick to a pump schedule. I hope this helps!
