Baby related events

Hi Everyone. So my due date would have been this Friday, the 27th and I'm struggling a bit. I'm supposed to go to a gender reveal party next Wednesday for one of my closest friends and I'm afraid I won't be able to keep it together. Anyone else been through this? I'm trying to tell myself to suck it up and go but I really don't want to go.
